Whatever tips that you offer for this game does not have to be related to the level showing. Any tips for the beginner would be very helpful.

Most useful tips have been mentioned already by the fellow Crushers so I'm not sure how useful I can be! In any case, my advice to your friend would be to save her gold and boosters for the more hard levels later in the game. Don't fall into the trap of using them just to get a better trophy at an episode.
