Am playing CC on a PC with Windows 10, fully updated. In the last week or so I get a connection error when trying to retrieve a VIP reward. I opened an account, was recognized as a Newbie via email, but the connection error remains. Obviously I can get part way into the app but am blocked from full feature access. This problem also was reported in 2020 and the tech team worked on it.
Is the tech team aware this is recurring?
HELP please.
@BellaJ Hi again, The only fix for this at present is to uninstall and reinstall if playing via the windows 10 app. if you have this via Facebook game, check device is up to date, clear the cache entirely and log out and restart your device. then log back in

@BellaJ Hi Again, If you game is saved with a King or Facebook account , your levels would be safe and if anything did go wrong there are ways to get them manually restored back to your device
This is a long standing issue that the game studio have not been able to replicate at present so we have no idea on a time frame for a fix for this

I am not aware that I have proactively saved my game on a King account. Am not a Facebook denizen so no help their either. When I try to open my CC (new) account I run into the connectivity issue so it may be too late for me to save anything. If so, I regret ignoring the "save your progress" prompts I used to get. Hey, CC tried to help me over time and I just didn't want to open an account. Oops.

Your progress is probably saved, when you logged in to play you were using an email account that you registered at King.com, right? otherwise you wouldn't have gotten that far.
Please find your player ID. See
👉 HERE how to find it. With that ID you can reset your progress if necessary. To try to solve the connection problem, have you tried turning off the PC's Internet connections? I don't mean turning off the router, but just turning off the internet connection on the PC for a couple of minutes with the game open. Hope you can solve it.

I have made progress and have found my player ID--double clicking the crown did the trick. My ID is 7037146201.
The screens I see have changed from my usual game: "my" picture is now a blank faced head but my number 101 still shows. The Shop will not open--just get the revolving balls as it cranks. The rest look the same except Settings takes me to the Sign In page that doesn't work.
And, no matter if I try the main first screen, where I see Play then Save My Progress, I end up with the Sign In page that can't connect.
Am hoping that my ID number can help solve the problem. Will it help you the wifi connectivity issue OR give me instructions on how to recover my progress if I must uninstall CC from the PC and reinstall it.
Your continues help will be most appreciated.
@BellaJ Hi Again, Your game ID will not help with the connectivity issue but if you do an uninstall you will need it if your game has not saved and you need to get your levels manually restored. Please note that if you have not got a saved game though and have to manually get your levels restored you will LOSE any stored BOOSTERS and LIVES
