The past few days I’ve noticed that the first time I play a hard level I have a certain number of moves, then when I (inevitably) fail it, when I play it again the number of starting moves has changed.
For example, today the first time I played 4621 I had 15 moves, I failed & since then it always starts with 25 moves.
I noticed it on another level a couple of days ago.
Has it always been this way & I never noticed in my years of playing, or is this new?
If it’s a new feature I’m not impressed - you’re at a disadvantage the first time & much more likely to lose your win streak.
@Kazza-3 Hi and welcome, I have played candy crush for over 7 years and have never seen this happen not once. Levels do get amended but normally if you have restarted the game the amended levels will have been updated to your game straight away.
I have seen times when some have got far less moves from a level due to a server glitch, but again you normally have to log out and clear the browser or app store browser for this to rectify itself. Its not something that is solved by just playing a level once
All i can suggest is make sure your device and game are up to date and clear the cache from your app store or browser . log out and restart your device and do this regularly to make sure your game is running as smooth as possible
Thank you
@Sukanta_Biswas thanks, but I played the level the first time & restarted it in less than 2 minutes. My app couldn’t have updated in that time, & I have auto-update off.
This has happened on 3 hard levels that I remember for sure, what are the chances of some kind of “update” happening on all of them in the 2 minutes or so between the 1st & 2nd try? And someone else has seen the same thing.
This happened to me 3 times. But I didn't get more moves after first failed try, I got them after lot of failed tries.
My comment on level 8480 on some other candy crush page.
'This happened again to me? This has 21 moves, I was playing and couldn't win it, was close few times. Then on one try they gave me more moves, idk how many it was because at some point I noticed I have 20 moves left and I already made 10 or so moves... Why do they do this? I wanna win hard level without any help... It feels more fulfilling. idk'
