I still haven't figured out how you rank up it just does it automatically!

Just open a level, and quit level quickly, if unlimited lives. Each time the yellow bar fills up a bit more. If no unlimited lives, go back to level 606, and keep retrying. Worked offline on a device as rank-up progress can be synced afterwards. Much done offline, using iPad whilst on commute to and from work, waiting for trains, etc. The yellow bar fills up more slowly, the higher the rank.

Oh, ok thanks, I was just playing normally and every so often it would say I ranked up but just like everything else someone finds a hack to trick the system! not impressed!
