Official answer from King (the same one they give all the time): we carry out studies to determine which players will take part in any special event or game which is why all players do not all have the same things like Chocolate Box, Dexter Space Race, etc.
Major BS really. They don't know what they are doing other than "improving" the visuals. Players don't care about the visuals. They just want the game to remain the same.

@Crazy Cat Lad I have the same as @jeanps, from June 1, I can only take 3 tasks a day just like the old chocolate box.
Before June wit the new chocolate box I could take the 4 task.

Chocolate box disappeared in April, checked here & it said it would return April 29.
It didn't but it did return April 29, but it did return a week or two later.
June now, and it's missing again😪
I needed those rewards to pass some of these impossible levels.
As many said, it makes it a lot less fun

I would also like to see the Dexter Space Race come back. This wrapped candy contest every week is annoying and stupid.

I got a new chocolate box now ...thank you the entire app has been updated, works purr-fectly now. 😸
