I keep getting asked for my date of birth my account is linked to Facebook so my date of birth is already available to see
This feed is from 4 years ago. It's great you answered but try and help on more current feeds.
so in this case you have to wait for you to turn the required age for YOUR country

Hi @shellb81 there are two separate issues here. One is that people enter a date, but find the continue button is greyed out and the other issue is like yours were an date has been entered that makes the player too young to play Candy Crush. In the first instance the DOB screen doesn't disappear as it just gets greyed out. In your case the DOB screen disappears because you have successfully entered a date.
All you can do to resolve your issue is to contact King using the CONTACT US button shown in your screenshot, and explain what happened.
Year of birth should be enough data required. The fact that any date can be inputting without verification makes the new prompt to play pointless. Players have already complained that a wrong (underage) date stops them from playing the game.
More worryingly is King's ability to securely hold personal details. This forum is full of players complaining about bugs in the games.
I freely admit that I have given my birth year but all other data is incorrect.
I am on a laptop, so all I do is select Candycrush and the message about my date of birth keeps coming up, I can hear the game tune in the background. However I tried what LazyVampire suggested, highlighted my day of birth pressed enter and hey presto the continue button turned green and I am back playing again.
How are you all able to bring up the date of birth screen again?
I'm on a app on a tablet and have been locked out.

I play using Microsoft Edge, so tried Chrome. When you come to where it says year, month, date, use drop down on Month, but manually put in others, I was using the up/down to scroll to relevant numbers. Did this on Chrome, let me in, went to Edge to try same thing, but it automatically loaded has usual. Hope this helps.
Hi Lorcaz and Shelb81 - I have found a way to get past this bloody screen, try after putting in the day date part press return, I did this through sheer frustration and it turned the continue button green. Hope it works for you and anyone else who manages to read this message.
Day 2 of not been able to play, so all my daily plays will have gone back to beginning. So not happy King.com. I play numerous times a day, miss playing. Please get rid of request until its sorted, or sort out asap.
Lazy Vampire. Mine is through the app and not FB so have been completely shut out. No option to make any changes now. š¢
I just replied to another post about this, but then I went to FB and tried again. In my frustration I tried a couple of things. I put my cursor at the number of my birthday and pressed enter a couple of times. Then the "continue" button changed to green and I was able to play.
But very tough to play 2943rd level

There's definitely a glitch then. I had an email from them saying the new age restriction regulations don't come into effect until 2nd September so really this should be removed until the technical issues have been resolved

Hello @Linda_32SWIM44 because you entered the date as 'todays' date the system now thinks you are too young to play Candy games. All you can do is contact King Support and hope that they actually help you.
Hi @MandiC, Shellb was asking your age because you have to be over 13 to download the app, and you have to be over 18 to make purchases.
I was asking because if you are over 13 and put in the correct date of birth then it sounds like a glitch with the game.
This age control is now being rolled out since you will need to be at least 18 years old to be able to play all King games. If you are over 13 years old, you can play most of the King games with the approval from your legal guardian.
When entering your date of birth and you don't accomplish this, then the game will be blocked.
It is asking me for mine too, but when I put the date in ( many many moons over 13) the continue button does not highlight so cannot press it.
