I faced the exact same problem today. My internet connection was fine. It showed the connection problem and then connected but my rewards from the special chocolate box never appeared
I had 3 out of 4 rows finished in the deluxe box. I was well within the time limit. Logged on this morning and it was gone

This issue has been reported. meanwhile Please do the standard trouble shooting by log out, update your game application, restart your device and login, if playing through browser please clear cache/ history. And login again.
Exactly the same issue....I get the notification bar at the top which shows I've collected everything for the deluxe box level 2, but can't open box. On Android phone, internet is fine and done the troubleshooting....
I’m having the same issue and have done all of the steps. When I updated the app, I lost the 4 1/2 hours that I still had left in boosters (bomb and stripes). Totally PO’d. I’m on an iPhone.

I have completed the steps above. The chocolate box still will not open. When I open Candy Crush to play, The chocolate box has an explanation mark in the corner. Then when I click on the !(explanation mark) it goes away. Then the chocolate box still will not open. It moves from side to side in a very, very slow motion. The chocolate box been unavailable for weeks for me and based on the comments other people are having the same problem. When is this going to be resolved. Is a system error? I play on a HP computer.

@Melcheah I had the same problem yesterday with Sam's Streak failing to connect even though my internet was fine! I finally managed to get my reward by logging into my king.com account - I mainly play on win10 app! After playing an old level, the feature appeared there too and clicked the ''claim'' button! Perhaps you can try this! 🤷♀️
