Apart from not being able to use chocolate box to win boosters for weeks now, my gold bars dont work. Ive been stuck on a level and did quite well til it ended and was gutted when i couldnt use my gold bars to get more moves which wouldve enabled me to complete the level, then ran out of lives. This is so frustrating whats the point in playing. Candy crush get these glitches sorted asap.

Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.

Hello @KerriT did you get an error message when trying to use your gold bars? If you are playing right now then note that King is having server issues, so this might impact your gold use as the server error would stop your game linking to King's servers where your gold is stored.
I have tried resetting my computer, clearing my cache, logging out of facebook, nothing so far has worked.
I had not been using gold bars so its not an issue with that. I had been working this afternoon but clicked on
the button on facebook but nothing is loading.
I will leave it till tomorrow and see how it goes.

@kbraz1970 none of the normal troubleshooting techniques can help you as the issue is being caused by King's server problem. Hopefully as their whole system is down you should be able to play later today, as I can't imagine they will let the server issue go unresolved for too long.
