Candy Crush is has turned into a game to make money. They don’t have nearly the same amount of players as they did years ago. Less people means the the chances of as many people spending money are less so they give away less stuff for free thinking it will force people to buy gold bars. Also they have made the levels so hard after level 10,000 that that the only way to win is to buy more moves. I’ve been playing for years but getting really frustrated and i am about to quit. They don’t seem to listen to anything the players that have been around for a long time have to say. I thought going on this forum would do some good as far as our input but again developers have gone for making money off of the ones that play instead of making it fun for all and gaining more players.
With all the sentiments I have read about this new chocolate box, I would say the old one is better than this. 10 gold bars at the end of the quest is not worth or does not equal the boosters and the earned gold bars you will use just to finish the quest.
Having colored bombs, striped candy and lolipop hammer daily is preferred by players.
Hi @lelensp I am undecided about the Deluxe Chocolate Box to be honest. It is good having another way of winning gold in the game, but the rewards seem aimed at getting you to play more rather than rewarding you at the end of the tasks.
That is, unlike the old Chocolate Box some of the rewards are temporary. 15minute colour bomb, 30minute unlimited lives, 30minute colour bomb and the one hour unlimited lives are only helpful if you have the time to keep playing.
Yesterday I left the gold chocolate box with just one task to complete today. So today all I had to do was collect 490 blue candy to complete the Box.
This meant that the hour I normally play in a day had the advantage of one hour unlimited lives and half an hour of unlimited colour bombs. On top of that I gained ten gold bars. Pretty sweet then.
The Deluxe Box seems to take a lot of thought to get the best out of, and some of the tasks are difficult compared to the original Box. The complete six new level task is especially difficult considering the well known issue of move removal from levels.
One change that I think would help is the removal of the 2 day limit. After struggling to complete the majority of the tasks the two day limit feels like a punishment when the time runs out with just one task left.
We have different rewards. With my old box what I get daily is coloured bomb striped candy and hammer. No unlimited lives and colour bombs. The task is so easy no time pressure too.
I just wait until i get my regular chocolate box. Everytime one row of the deluxe chocolate boxes is not worth it/not completable in time.
King should really think about their tasks before they use them
20 gold bars is not worth wasting my poppers or ufo for
and also, I agree with Appsv said
20 gold bars? I only win 10.
Another example of all the inequalities between player’s games?
