I got a new phone and started playing from level 1. After a few months I'd surpassed my previous level on another device, so when prompted to login and "save the game" I finally did so. At that point I had almost 400 gold bars. As soon as I logged in, they all disappeared. My other device synced to the same level, but gold bars didn't change on that device, only on my phone. I've sent multiple emails through the "contact us" forms without any responses. Now what?

According to your statement, the first time you tried to save your new game progress, but your new game progress is connected to your old game account, and because of that, the gold bars are not synced from your new game progress.
However, since you have contacted our Player Support you have to reply to the automated mail from them with "Need Help"

The games are synced with levels between the two devices and the number of gold bars is exactly the same...except they both are now at 15 because it started them from 0 when I logged in. I just wish they would warn people that doing this could cause you to lose all your gold bars because I would never have logged in from the second device (the one with the larger number of bars).
