Candy Crush keeps crashing on iphone 4S

Hi,

over the past few weeks Candy Crush just keeps crashing whenever I try and start it. It works about 1 every ten times I try to load it. Using an iphone 4S with iOS 9.2.1. Never had these issues in the past. I'm on level 1344. Same issue even if I have closed all other apps - also takes forever to try and sync with facebook nowadays, regardless of whether I'm on wireless or 3G.

Any ideas how I can fix it without de-installing/re-installing?

In my experience, random crashes are from running out of memory. If you have apps running with background app refresh (settings), turn them off. Try a "hard reboot" - hold down both the power buttons and home buttons at the same time until the iPhone/pad resets. It takes longer to restart, but will free up memory.

de-installing/re-installing worked for me..just lost about 200 boosters :-(

I've uninstalled and reloaded still no go!! Any tips?

If you have tried all of those other things then it's probably to best to try an uninstall and reinstall. You will lose any boosters you have but surely it's better to get your game up and running again right.
