Well fellow CC players..
This was the answer i received..
"I am sorry to hear that you aren't receiving any lives at the moment. After a thorough search of our system, I can confirm that on our side, we haven’t detected an issue"
So...it is not their fault, and the systems are working....
"As for why the limit, we noticed that a full mailbox can affect the functionality of the game, and most players were storing so many lives that it was negatively impacting both the game and the device."
Are they kidding??
I just sent 2 to customer support. One due to level 11872 at 20 moves IMPOSSIBLE! And the other that not having lives makes it completely impossible ! I told them that King has become the enemy… so much for playing with friends, when you can’t and they’ve taken away events that were very helpful. I’m sooo ready to uninstall this game.

I understand how worrisome not getting lives can be. Worry not, and know that I’m here to help you the best that I can.
After a thorough search of our system, I can confirm that on our side, we haven’t detected an issue. There are a couple of reasons this might be the case: the new lives could have already been added to your inventory without you noticing it, or there might have been a delay in the delivery of the requests (due to some temporary connection issues)
Also please bear in mind that the requests you've sent may have not been accepted/sent back by your friends yet.
While we, unfortunately, cannot adjust this for you right now, having feedback such as yours enables our developers to make adjustments and changes to our game in future updates.
