Only done the first episode, found it very poor in general.
It is clear the weekly feedback is not being heeded at all, and the designers are quite content to continue churn out the same old design of small spaces, tonnes of blockers and tonnes of jelly jars.
Hoping for better in the remaining episodes.
The second episode initially looks more promising, but them immediately sinks into the toilet, with 12027 being the worst level of the week so far. Endless cascades needed and you have to cross your fingers the game decides to give you enough liquorice to pass. Poor fare indeed.

I really think the game needs a refocus away from churning out three unimaginative levels of rubbish each week, and just do one level per week with a variety of level designs and difficulties.
Finished them... Different schedule...Different playing for me... hmm.. What did I think of the levels hmm...
p.s. Had a special meme for Level 12,000 but the new level thread was late coming out last week. This week it was even later so I will save it for Level 13,000. Probably more apropos anyway. Hehe!
I totally agree. It seems the solution to lack of vision is level after level of jelly jars, rainbow rapids, sour skulls, blockers, etc.
I have stopped with 1 level of the 2nd. Episode to go. This is to make the most use of my F5 team combination.
The 1st. Episode was appalling, the 2nd. not much better. Level 12027 is really a joke. The only way to beat it is start with a CB/ Wrapped Candy combo and if you have one a Lucky Candy. I got through with 3 moves to spare. 12008, 12011, 12012 and 12023 can only be described as absolute rubbish.
Really @LindQ @Crazy Cat Lad surely the design Studio can do better than this ???
Like @Albert_Heinrich I am seriously contemplating giving the game away. I used to look forward to the day of the new releases, now it has just become an burdensome chore !!
I too once expected the day of the new releases and I would finish them after a few hours, now I have changed tactics I am no hurry to finish the new levels on the day of release I will use them for the chocolate box. I'm not playing more the new events to collect the blue candy. They stop the cascades to part of the players and for me now is to boring and spending of time to play.
Finished. Last episode was no better than the first 2. 12036 and 12037 are idiotic in the extreme, then you get to 12038 and I started with a CB combo and all over in 2 moves.
Honestly, this is becoming a chore. No imagination or tactics needed, just blast away and hope the never ending cascades fall your way. The "game" has gone out of the game.
But nobody cares just continue to dish up level after level of jelly jars, blockers, sour skulls and rainbow rapids. It seems Samantha is beyond the ability of the current crop of designers.
Tossing up whether to bother next week.
