What happened to the extra moves when you click on give up?
Have been able to get them up until game 6203 and with only 23 moves this level definitely needs xtra moves

I wish I knew Carol. Of all the changes made by King this is the one that really makes no sense at all to me. The only result that I can see for this test is loads of complaints from frustrated players.
If King are reducing the amount of lives and not giving extra moves what is the point of playing.
That is something I have said already Carol the double whammy of reduced lives and now no extra moves will surely see players leaving en masse.
I can't imagine that even those who can afford to pay or others who struggle to pay would be happy with this.
That is my guess as to what this test is all about. The only thing that King can be testing by removing the extra moves is to see how many buy moves, or how many stop playing. Nothing else makes sense.
Alternatively this could be their answer to the life limit. The change to the life limit has seriously upset people that buy things for their games and I don't think King saw this coming. I think that by removing or changing the frequency of the extra moves and giving people back the ability to send and receive lives they hope to get those people buying again.

Hi Foxy seeing as last time this happened to you the issue fixed itself all I can suggest is that you stop playing other than to collect the Booster Wheel booster and check that the extra moves feature is back in your game. Obviously you will have to play a level once to check for the extra moves, but I would suggest just play the once and save your boosters & lives until the feature is working again.
Level 12193 and my extra moves are still gone. Frustrated.

they are changing a lot of things in a bad way
I play candy since many years and I think Iām ready to give it up . Itās clear that they are pushing players to buy ā¦but even buying gold bars you re still unable to pass the level . itās not a pleasure anymore , itās just frustrating

Honestly, it is NOT a test. This feature has been there like forever so why remove it if not to make money? I just think someone has overlooked the fact that many levels from 12000 and up are absolutely impossible to solve without extra moves. So now the game is only for those willing and able to pay.
On the other hand for some reason they gave me unlimited lives to play the same level over and over again.. not quite grasping the concept of this test of theirs
Totally agree with you, it's supposed to be fun after all but being unable to progress and play the same darned level for days is not my idea of fun !!
It's so annoying isn't it, you come to rely on extra help in the levels above 10,000 and they just take it away !! It's not as if it's free either, still had to be bought with 10 gold bars, C,mon King sort it out, if you intend to remove this feature permanently then I shall give up playing, it's supposed to be fun but days and days of playing the same level isn't exactly fun :(
Iāve just used 69 gold bars to purchase six hours of ālivesā in Candy Crush only to find that there was no longer the extra moves awarded after playing a level multiple times resulting in me making zero progress and using all of the remaining bars I had when I thought I was close to finishing - & failed.
Reading the comments suggest this is a temporary modification- Iām a big Candy Crush fan on level 12196 but this has destroyed my enjoyment- I think this might be the trigger to get me to stop playing- life will never be the same again. I hope King reverse the modification immediately
No, they just came back for 24 hours but have gone again now ......makes me so angry !!!!
CC has made a number of changes over the past year to increase revenue. More money to buy bonus moves, less gold bars for same money. Also some features have been eliminated which now costs money to get those one time free features.
Itās called a money grub.
I see the problem of extra lives is rampant. Can anyone tell me how to fix it.
Im also stuck on this level. Don't think we' will pass it until King is done with their 'test'. They ruined the game with these tests.
how is playing the same level a million times keeping things ''fresh and interesting''..we are bored and frustrated..according to the many many posts relating to this topic. There's your test results.. good job, no one is spending any more money on gold bars and we are all considering uninstalling.

I also spent 10$ to only pass 3 levels.. I'm also stuck on 12211 with no extra movws adding up. I don't know what kind of ''trial'' they are using us for this time but it sucks and enough to make me uninstall. I've been thinking about it anyway because I'm always buying gold bars for those 35 extra moves. I'm not buying anything until this is fixed or the levels are passable with the amount of moves given. You can't even pass with fully loaded boosters with the amount of moves they give!
Me too. And this morning when I start the game only my name is there. My other players were there with pink hearts to send livesā¦gone! The fun part is gone. If Iām going to work this hard they should be paying me!!
Iām done until they reverse their decision and I definitely wonāt be spending any money
For the first time ever, I purchased gold bars to keep me going when the extra moves reached 20+.
I won't be buying again until this latest decision has been reversed.

I had 30 extra moves on my iPhone and iPad and went back to play and itās back to 5 extra moves for 10 gold bars. Where are all of my extra moves? What are they ruining now?!?!
Seems to be disappearing for everyone. Another change to make us spend more $$$.
The fact that we frequently need 20 or 30 extra moves to complete some levels speaks volumes about the state of the game.

I play on two devices and I only updated Candy Crush on one device which is the one that does not give the extra moves. Today I was able to pass 3 nightmarishly hard levels with 35 extra moves on the device that was not updated āŗļø
Thatās great! I was trying that on level 12142 also nightmarishly hard with 28 moves and my 35 extra moves disappeared!! I tried turning off both devices and back on but still gone. Very frustrating.
No they arenāt. The number of moves you receive when you use 10 gold bars used to go up after many attempts. Now, for the last few days it is stuck on 5 extra moves for 10 bars. Many people pay for the 10 bars if they know they can complete the levelā¦but they wonāt (I wonāt) for just 5 moves.
Just like getting lives from friends. Itās all messed up and not in the players favor. It is what it isā¦
It is messed up for the players (the funders of the game). I will wait until they fix THEIR mistakes until I even care. They donāt !!
I am FURIOUS that they pulled this garbage on us. I am on level 12211 and spent money on a package last night to finish the board when all of a sudden after the update the extra moves disappeared. I spent $20 to only pass 3 levels and spent almost 6 hours on this level with every single booster and was still not able to pass it. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to pass with the amount of lives given. I feel completely screwed over right now with the extra moves being taken away. I shouldnāt have to use a crap load of gold bars to pass a level after already paying for all of the boosts. I play this game, friends and soda and regularly reach the āend of the roadā if that tells you anything and they have made it impossible to pass levels without spending a bunch of money. SO GREEDY. I AM DONE UNLESS YOU FIX THIS.
I agree whole heartedly. This is ridiculous. I am on level 12211 and there are many levels that are impossible to pass with the amount of moves they give you. Even with all of the boosts Iāve needed 20-30 extra moves to pass a level more times than I care to admit.
Why were extra moves removed after failing a level X amount of times, usually the extra moves would go up after youāve failed a level so many times. Now itās just 5 moves every time.

You canāt even come close to passing most of the high levels in the number of moves you start with, so 5 extra makes no difference anyway.
I too used to keep trudging away until I was up to 35 and with a lucky board I was happy to pay.
No point in either playing or paying unless this is restored.
Well done King. Between this and the ālives from friendsā debacle, you are sucking all the joy out of your own game.
I lost the extra lives at the end of the game & got frustrated and reset the app and then I lost boosters and lives sent by friends and I had quite a few. I reached the end of the game every week & would occasionally buy lives and boosters but now Iām fed up. Unless things come back Iām done and Iāve been playing for about nine years.
This is greedy and stupid beyond belief. Who in their right mind will keep buying and spending gold on only 5 extra moves? Many level are impossible without more than 5 extra moves š¤·āāļø
Why do I have to reconnect my game to Facebook EVERY time I go to play? Even after a 10 minute gap I have to reconnect!!! Annoying
