Episode Race Friends

I don’t have many players/friends in CC, so today I wanted to add some of the folks who were in my “episode race”, but I couldn’t find a way to do that. I did notice that there are two different episode race windows: one that pops up after completing a level, and another that is brought up when a player goes to the events list and taps the episode race tab. But neither option provides the competitor’s handles. So, I suggest that when the episode race progress window pops up (or a player selects the tan from the events menu), players should be able to tap on the avatar of any of the participants, then given some options like: “add friend”, “request to join team”, “send life” and/or “request life”. I can understand that having all of these options may be difficult (from the technical end), but at the very least, we should be able to request to add fellow episode race competitors as friends.

Hello @AltheaLynn I could be wrong, and sorry if I have misunderstood, but your idea sounds a lot like the recently announced Player Card.
Please have a look at the discussion linked below and see what you think.

Side Note: Your handle makes me chuckle, because I keep picturing Alan Tudyk’s alien character driving his beat up pickup truck in the show Resident Alien, and he has an alien-shaped scar on his hand. 😆
So I read through the player card post, and yes, that is absolutely what I was thinking! But in that post, I couldn’t find anything about where players will be able to see the player cards to click/tap on. If we will be able to tap the player card in the episode race pop-up, then that would be exactly what I was looking for! I also read through the second post you provided, and again, for me, it’s all about where in the game you can tap on other’s profile cards to access info, request friendship & see other info. But it seems the general idea is definitely on its way.

Hi Althea you are right the Player Card announcement isn't that detailed, but it does say you can click on a player's Avatar in the game. I am hoping that this means you can click on any avatar anywhere in the game including the Episode Race.

You might have missed it, but the other idea I linked mentioned the 'gold bar race' which is the Episode Race.
Side note: Resident Alien is one of the best things on telly, but here is a bit of info about my username

This feature is already being looked into, like @Alienscar mentioned. Via the Player Profile Card you would be able to tap any players in your game and then request to add them in your game:
