Has anyone else been chosen as Top Player then advanced to the end of all Levels?

Question

Last week CC's idea of a boost was advanced to 2450 (240 levels) to end of game. This morning happened again to 2496 - end of levels. How is this a gift? Anyone else with this issue?

My mother's CC saga game did the same. She was on level pass the 2200's all of the sudden she is was on the last level, and now when new levels are released, she keeps advancing to the end. We checked all her devices, phone, iPad and pc. It looks the same in all devices. Is there a fix for ths? I guess is nice that you get to the end, but kind of ruins the excitement of the game.
