Sorry but that didn't do any difference either, but it was worth a try. The funny thing is that it worked all the way up untill yesterday morning, and stopped working all of a sudden (no updates, computer in sleep mode).
Ah well it was worth a try @Murvelkott. If you search the internet you will see that 'unsupported browser' is not an uncommon issue.
I'm having the same issue.
If anyone has a fix - pls post.
I am using Windows 10. Same problem.
i have the same problem on 4 win 11 machines
I have it on one Windows 11 and one Windows 10, so the problem is not related to Windows. Could it have anything to do with which Facebook server we're hooked up to? I know from other areas that they're doing some code changes and my FB server is selected for the most recent changes.

Hi @jimbodk I am not sure what to say about this issue. I think it is more likely that issue is caused by Facebook rather than Candy Crush.
As I have said before if you Google 'unsupported browser' you will see that it isn't an uncommon issue when it comes to Facebook and apps.
I think the problem is with the interface between the app and Facebook.
Before this problem arises, there were many occasions I logout because the app was showing some funny avatars that I don't recognise. When I clicked on "Continue with Facebook" to re-login, the app didn't even response. Restart the app didn't help. I have to reinstall the app in order to login again.
"Unsupported browser" notice has always been there. Not a problem.
Countless times I reinstalled the app and it worked, but not now.
I think the problem is with the interface between the app and Facebook.
Agreed @quekkc, but I think the problem is mostly caused by Facebook's interface rather than the Candy Crush app.
Other people with this problem have simply downloaded the Windows 10 app and used a King.com account to play without issue.
