I was stuck for 2 weeks a few weeks back all down to lives issues, 20 lives just does not cut it. Ive been on the same level for 3 days now and I suspect this level I will be stuck on for weeks as its super hard level. You are right in saying what was a stress free game has turned into a stressful game, it causes so much frustration because levels are taking weeks to pass. But I refuse to spend a penny on the game since the lives changed as its obvious all they want from us is money but now the tables have turned as people won't spend money on an unjust game or are leaving daily. It is kings fault as I feel the game will crash as nobody will play it, ive told friends not to play it when they've been thinking of playing new games and warned against this one. The best thing though a lot of players use to spend money on this game but since they restricted the lives people have refused to spend there hard earned cash on these cowboys.

Well still got no further with this level, king are really taking the pee. There's just not enough lives to play the game anymore. The level I am on is super hard and you just don't get enough moves to play it. I have no boosters etc and I WILL NOT SPEND MY MONEY just to up Microsofts profits especially as the game has been proven now that its all about greed.
Well I can tell you king you must be losing money left right and centre as you've upset too many people and they've either stopped spending money or have left the game, us players will be having the last laugh. All this game has done is stressed people out to the max where as before I found it a therapeutic game and often spent money on it and it certainly was worth it then.
I doubt king reads these threads or something would of been done by now.
So king you can shuff this game where the sun don't shine, im done with it and I hope you lose every player and candy crush will be no more.

Well and truly bored of this now. Five lives gone in five minutes. Don’t even bother clicking on the casino royale or other challenges any more. There’s no point! We can’t achieve any of the goals or complete any of the challenges playing five minutes a day. I used to love this game so much: and you know what else really annoys me is how candy crush try getting me to add random friends lol. I mean, before when you could actually use the lives that were sent it was worth adding people, but why are they still pushing for a community when there clearly isn’t one to be had??? I appreciate whoever has made these tweaks really don’t want us slagging off their game but lol, come on.. it’s really really crap to play now. Ive made a video of the gameplay and I’m going to leave it on my page for people to see exactly what I’m complaining about. I’ve got over a million followers to moan at lol. I know it’s not just me. Most of my family and friends have stopped playing since we can’t play properly anymore. I have to admit, I do look forward to playing some of the other games I’ve downloaded recently much more now. And I’ve started looking at my console lovingly again. Been a few years but glad I kept it! I’ve recently discovered I’m quite good at scrabble! All thanks to candy crush and their shite new game rules. Always a positive folks.. always a positive.

I know!! It just started so I dunno maybe that’s why? Now I’m paying to continue playing when I have so many lives I could be using. I’ve spent sooo much money on this in general and still I am even now but now its starting to just turn me away when they cut me off rather than continue to play. This was my anxiety relaxation and now it’s becoming too stressful and costly ahhhhh

Adding my 5p worth too. This is my own opinion not as a game mod because it's not my area 😉 This is as a player.
Ive recently come back to candy and have been trying to do the weekly challenge. How on earth can you pass levels in a week when you have 5 lives????
I installed it on my tablet too just so I can play a little longer.
I will be honest, I cannot see that it's a money grab. Because you cannot even buy any lives with gold!
I am not sure why they changed it, it's not my main game but it won't keep my interest long playing so slowly. Especially when I am trying for badges 🙄

I have been having the same problem since the update with the birthday celebration
can’t get the GB I have or redeem the royalty keeeps spinning and message can’t connect to app store
For some unknown reason the CC app gives me a message I am not connected to I yet er so it can’t send me rewards
I am connected and I have done everything suggested in troubleshooting except deleting the app I don’t want to lose everything I have
