Purple Fish Please Answer Quickly

Question

In Candy Crush, a lot of my Facebook friends have been seeing a giant purple fish that eats striped candies that talks about a contest to an island, but I am farther on in the game than them and have not seen him at all. When I look it up online it talks about the fish power up. I am pretty upset about this.

Hi Makenzie,  sorry for the delay in responding and I thank you very much for posting here on King Care.  You are not alone with this!  I never saw a giant purple fish in my games either!
