Been repeating this for a month now. Even got accused of spamming by someone whose name I shall not reveal. 😏
Unfortunately, the standalone Windows desktop version doesn't let everyone play in landscape. However, one gotta definitely give it a try.
Majority of complaints, however, come from iPad users. And these are people who oftentimes are paying players. I believe King have shot themselves in the leg with this screen orientation decision. Very, very bad marketing.
I guess I was remembering a long time ago when I downloaded some app version and none of my friends were on it..but they are this time :) ya I play on laptop FYI I hope others will give it a try.. its a little laggy like when you are out of turns it dont do anything but if I click on it , it will continue. But if you need it big its worth a try for sure.. thanks Doondie.
Hi guys! Welcome to all new community and older community members. I have a question for all of you that prefer landscape mode? I play the game on my desktop but also on my iPhone and iPads but I can't play in landscape mode due to my very poor vision. Are all of you playing on your phone? My iPhone drives me crazy when it goes into the landscape mode as I try to read my emails so what is it about the landscape that you love? I am curious ore than anything else so hopefully someone can offer me an explanation as to why you prefer one over the other. Have a great weekend and happy crushing!
For me, its because I mainly play on a 10 inch tablet - it's heavy to hold in portrait for too long, plus when charging (which is a lot of the time) the cable is sticking out of the top or bottom - it's much more comfortable out of the side.
When I'd do use my phone (less than 10% of the time) I do play in portrait, but I prefer the tablet.
You are the best @Karenr2! Thanks for such a quick response! Now that makes sense to me because one of my iPads is also very heavy but I play in portrait so I don't feel the weight as much. I can totally understand why you would prefer the tablet over the phone because the screen size is much larger. That's why I use my computer desktop and play on Windows 10 just for the size. But yes, that does make sense. So if it never comes back how are you going to adjust to this?
