I can’t see my friends to send them lives

I am playing candy crush saga on an iPhone, I am connected to Facebook but for a long time now, I haven’t been able to send lives to any of my friends. I have no problem receiving them and if I get a request for them in the list where we receive lives, I can respond and send them that way but I have no way to just send them to friends. I used to be able to click the picture of my player in the top middle part of the screen and it would open up a list of friends and I could send them lives now when I click the picture it just opens a blank box that says profile at the top and I see nothing else. I do have friends though because the extra lives I use get replaced to take me back to 200 -
I would love to be able to send lives to all my friends

Hello @Bobbi_Linskens and welcome to our friendly community! I play on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Because of the limit of how many lives people can get each day, sometimes your friends won’t be able to receive any lives from you.
However, I usually give live to all friends that are listed before I play a level. Of course I only see the names of players ahead of me and I’m in the 13,000s so in order to send lives to other friends I usually go to a lower level so that they show up.
I have never sent lives the way you just mentioned but I just checked it out and it worked for me.
Do you have the latest version of the game? Also you should clear your cache. Then exit the game, turn your phone off for 20-30 seconds at least and then try it and see if you can see your friends again.
