i think there should be an update towards this feature that after at least 4 no more possible shuffles the game stop and completely resets without taking a life.
Hello @rhiannonjohnson there are quite a few ideas already that try to improve the 'No More Possible Moves' so I think you should vote on one of the existing ideas rather than start your own. This way the number of votes for an idea don't get diluted.

Some boards try to shuffle and fail after no moves or after one move. In these circumstances it is plainly the level design that is at fault and King should do something to fix that.

On other levels though it is part of the player's responsibilities to watch their moves and prevent the game from having to shuffle. In this circumstance when a board has to shuffle it is because of player choices so there is no need for King to do anything to fix that.
That seems like a pretty unfair concept for the game. I don’t think that’s the best idea, because it completely ruins of one of the most important features in Candy Crush. I don’t know, though. It might actually be a great idea!

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily…
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.

Many Candy Crush Saga players would like to see more opportunities to win the UFO and Party boosters. How about adding them to the Daily Treat Calendar?
