You're right: You SHOULD. But you DON'T. Get a clue and realize a huge number of players are forced to play Candy Royale. So, again....I hope whoever developed it AND whoever refuses to fix it, meets the ultimate karma very, very, very soon.

100% agree. Fix it so this is no longer a mandatory option. Hate the lack of opt out!!

I’m starting to feel like I need to quit candy crush cold turkey!!! What is this candy royale game I’m forced to participate in? We all know it’s not exactly meant to be won! It’s absolutely impossible to win candy royale, but we are forced to endure its process of being shoved in this ridiculous game and then lose.. not to mention the long and annoying animation!!!! Does anyone else feel the same way?

If you play on an android device you can still press the back button instead of Play.

Hi @BettinaRick there is a steady stream of people complaining about the forced play of Candy Royale and you can read all about it in the thread linked below.
If you play on a PC try pressing the esc button to close the pop-up.
If you play on android use the back button to close the pop-up.

I won't play it if it won't let me back out of Candy Royale. Back button on android doesn't work, no X to close and no opt out option. Fix it or continue to lose players. It's a stupid game which is why no one wants to play it. Forcing us isn't right.

Please put the X back or remove the pop up and include it as a separate icon for the players that enjoy it. It’s very bothersome and entails closing it each time. Don’t see why it is popping up each time. Hope it’s fixed 🔜
