The Portrait mode is not a glitch due to the update. But, it is a change that was brought in by the Candy Game Studio. They have changed the way the game looks on all devices and all platforms -- mobile devices, computers, App version , and Facebook browser version!! And, it is here to stay...
Unfortunately, as players, we cannot do anything to change it back. All we can do is to leave our feedback and hope that we will be heard!!

THANK YOU .. Ive been playing for about 10years. and this recent change has me seriously contemplating ending my time playing this game, its hardly more enjoyable for all if you take away an option. i RARELY play on my phone. but i can be found on my PC regularly. it doesnt even fit on my screen unless i shrink it to almost tablet size... IM NOT A FAN of the change and soon may not be of the game..

Hate this… haven’t played now for weeks and won’t be playing again unless it’s changed back… what a waste of a good game :(

Since I deleted CCS from my iPad, I play occasionally on my Win 10 laptop. It’s still landscape on the laptop. I have disabled the auto-update on my laptop to preserve the landscape orientation of the game. The problem now is I am not able to participate in the season games, like the upcoming Fall Season where the orange candies change to maple leaf orange candies.

I totally agree .the screen is in the center third of my PC Monitor .And I agree that after over 5000 games and ten years of play the enjoyment shrunk with the screen. I hope that change it back soon .
