I reported my first attempt at completing 14870 on 31 August, a frustrating experience with a technical glitch/design fault (?) that caused upper deck candies cascading non-stop, with only one choice left for me- to quit the game, losing 1 life and the win streak progress.
I passed the level at the 2nd try , then without any starting booster. It's still a mystery how I managed to pass.
On the same evening I posted an update, after replaying the level to see where went wrong.
Just a day ago, I learnt from my friend Christine's post that the issue wasn't fixed and she lost her win streak as well.
So I've gone on an experiment with passing level 14870.
The main culprit seems to be the stripped candies in left column of the centre zone.
All working OK until the top candy marked in the circle was cleared
Yay, completed all orders, tap and skip the horror? Yes you could tap but could not skip.
I have tested afew rounds and the same was happening. Pity that I couldn't repeat my earlier successful attempt, completed the orders and left the level with no issue.
@QueenB , pl alert the Studio to remove whatever has been blocking top level players from passing this level.
I have tried to reproduce my success with this level. If it worked at all then it would be ridiculously easy to pass by the way. The first eight moves are obviously to match the four sets of blues to release the striped candies in the middle.
This will get you to this board.
No you must not hit the bottom green striped into the top one, at all cost, otherwise you immediately get the eternal loop. Hit the the two striped candies from TOP to BOTTOM, first one side, then the other and you get this.
Do it once more, on either side and the middle down line is cleared.
At this point, to pass the level you need some luck. Obviously if you hit the green into the blue striped candy it will clear the bottom three jelly rows, but and if you do this again, the middle jelly gets removed as well, but you need to somehow also clear the third jelly row from the top before your last move. Luck or a booster will achieve this.
Now I have two moves left. The first is to get rid of the last jelly in the middle, as described above. Then you have no choice but to match the two striped candies from bottom to top, so setting off a cascade. I have had the same result as @MonicaYellow several times and am not sure if in this case, though you cannot press to skip, the level gets credited and you will have passed it when you force closed and reopened the game. We cannot check this on a replay. However, on my tenth try I did get this instead of the endless looping. I'm still none the wise though why....:
Definitely needs fixing.
I have beaten this level numerous times today, but it won't move me past this level as there is a never ending scroll of candies that will not stop moving. This is getting ridiculous! This game has gotten so glitchy on all the levels that are even possible to pass without boosters or spending money.
