Candy Crush - white screen problem

During the last weeks, whenever I beat a level at Candy Crush OR whenever I ask for lives/run out lives, the screen turns white and the only way to continue is to restart the game. As a result, I lose ALL my lives. I am playing on Google Chrome. It is very frustrating.

I am having the same problem, everything works fine on my mobile and on Facebook, are you able to play there in the meantime as it may be a wide spread issue.

I appreciate the update; however, Candy Crush Saga players have received the same answer for over a week. If the 'update' is causing such a widespread problem, why release it without testing first? Thank you

I use Chrome and was also battling with this problem with the white screen and found the answer to the problem, just google alwaysafix.
