hello @nekocat π thank you no I did not complete :( well I played about 5-6 levels and not even one gem showed up! Then I was just too tired π₯±
I wish I could have accepted yours and @Amoonmoon kind gifts :)
I think it was kind of my fault it showed up so late, I realised I was running an out of date software on my iPhone so I updated to iOS 17 and suddenly all popped up. I had this experience before that running out of date software can affect the way app is distributing events.
Never mind at least I donβt have to stress about competing in the leaderboard π

@christinewupp I collected all the 8 gems for 2 of my lower-level accounts, without extra efforts, as I was feeding (rather than killing) different birds (Candy Royale, Champions Race, Sam Streaks, Choc Box, Candy Collection, Season Tour, and through some of these the Season Mastery (that appeared on the same day as the Gem Hunt Part 1) with the same levels.
On the 1st day, through the few tagged events, e.g Season Tour
I collected for the Bronze and Silver rewards
No more tagged events after the 1st day.
With today's Gold Rush, which gives 4 stars, I am now half way to completing for the Gold rewards, not bad ones, with Party Booster and UFO.

I never play contests with leaderboards, they're not for me, but I'm sure there are many that love playing them. Can't imagine what this one will be like though being as many are saying they get 1 gem in every 5 levels or more. This is going to be a tough one to play and I guess a lot of gold and boosters are going to be needed. Is it worth it for the rewards shown.
I did manage to get all the green gems so will watch my Leaderboard if it remains in my Event's.

Hi Christine reading your message makes me feel that I donβt regret missing out on this event. I had blue candy collection which popped up yesterday but I think is already finished. I donβt have the master token event yet, looks a bit like headache π€

Thanks for that info. I too have the gold rush now, so hopefully will get the gold chest open. And thanks for feeding the birds, that's even nicer than catching them !
