Constant creashing on iPad 3 ios 9.3.5

Since September, the app crashes constantly on my iPad 3, ios 9.3.5. Every time a new version comes out, I've updated but the crashes still continue. I've rebooted, uninstalled and re-installed the app (and thus lost all my earned boosters ) and the issue continues. Basically, the app freezes, goes black and I'm booted out (thereby losing a life). From all the support pages, iPad 3's are still supported so what gives as this is so very frustrating. From the App Store comments, I don't seem to be the only person experiencing this issue. Help!

Still crashes!

I've got about 40 GB of free space on this device. I've also cleared as much RAM as I could. So this is not a memory issue. Issue happens so randomly that I know it's not my device: it works for 2 games in a row and then I kill all my remaining lives due to crashes.

Black blobs on Candy Crush & Alpha Betty...screen just flickers
Finally got rid of black blobs on Candy Crush, but have now appeared on Alpha Betty. Screen just flickers on Candy Crush. What is the problem? Why is King not publicly addressing these VERY WIDE spread issues, and why is it taking so long to fix? All issues started after recent updates. Android phone... I miss my games!!!
