I only played 2 episodes a day and managed to top the group. Maybe you will be given a lucky final board that's low scoring?

That's interesting to hear @Arrowflinger . I thought maybe it's because I play each episode at a time, but clearly nothing to do with that. Maybe it is random and let's hope I have better luck in the final. It would be nice to win a prize. I think there are also prizes for the runners up as well. Will give it a go. Good luck to all in the final!

I sent this some days ago, but no response.
Would appreciate a reply! And none of my events have returned - except the booster wheel and the money box (which never goes!)
'There I was, in the top 3 qualifiers for the final, when every event disappeared from my game - including Candy Cup.
Sadly not the first time this has happened, but I was hopeful this time
Anyone got any bright ideas how to get the events back'
