Unless you would like to buy those Gold Bars (with real money), there is no use of Piggy Bank!  Sometimes, you will get good offers on those Gold Bars than the regular sale deals!  If you are a player that spends money to play your game, you should keep an eye on the Piggy Bank to make your purchases.

And to your question - "why you need to pay it" -- if you would like to purchase something in the game, it costs money.  But, the Gold Bars you earn in Episode Race or Candy Royale and in some events like "Gold Rush", "Pot of Gold", etc., are free!  And, you play the game to earn those Gold Bars.

Earn extra Gold Bars by collecting stars when you beat a level. The more stars you get the more Gold Bars are added to the Piggy Bank, especially on those 'Hard' and 'Super Hard' levels!
