⭕ Why can't I play in landscape mode anymore? Game too small!

I want to view Candy Crush in Lanscape (Horizontal) mode. It is only Candy Crush that is effected. All other apps spin round as I turn my ipad. All updates in everything are up to date. Browsing history is cleared.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback. Recently a changed was made in the game to only let players play in Portrait mode (this is how the game would look like when playing on a phone). This change is also effective on Windows. Currently there’s no plans on changing this back, but please leave your feedback on the change in this discussion.

It's been like this for months now and won't be changed back, so they tell us. I play with the game lying on its side now, the candies "dropping" from left to right, as I use a magic keyboard for my iPad and sit at a table to play. We've been complaining about this for months. Check out here and add you voice to our complaints! Maybe, one day, when they have a new boss, who knows, maybe they'll bring back landscape.....

I just HATE being in permanant Portrait mode. Looks like most players feel the same. Have you not heard the saying "If it ain't broke, leave it alone........or don't try to fix it!. Crazy change. Players should have been consulted. At least give us the option to use Portrait or Landscape. Then you can do the maths for yourselves and see which mode players prefer.

Many of my friends also stopped playing the game due to this change! Because, either it is hard to hold their iPad in portrait mode or the screen is too small on PC screens!! As of now, the news is that the change is here to stay and they might not bring back the landscape mode! Please leave your comment in THIS thread (click on the Green letters) to share your feedback.

All we want is the answer why did they change it to portrait?
What is the improvement as we can’t find one?
The people that were playing have bad eye-sight as it’s the older generation that seem to be complaining . Does this not justify having the game in both options?
Can you answer the questions please ….. not with a copy and paste answer. A proper reply that has been penned by you all to explain why you have done what you have done.
We are all looking forward to hearing from you 😊
PS: I am sure there are lots of young ones that are complaining too.

After not playing for a number of months I am truly moving on from Candy Crush. I used to play a few hours a day now I often forget to get on to even get the daily rewards. It’s sad but you don’t need to stay where you aren’t wanted and it is very clear King, or who ever owns the game now, doesn’t want players who want to enjoy the game on a tablet or computer.
