That's because the Moderator's don't have an answer, the "design team" just did it to save a couple of bucks in developmental costs to have the game in both Portrait and Landscape. There was no improvement, there was was a change just to save King a couple of bucks.

Funny, but my Screensaver keeps urging me to play Candy Crush on my PC. Didn't anyone tell Microsoft that Candy Crush is trying to get rid of PC players?

Don’t think they are really bothered, they have lost loads of players because of landscape mode. They just ignore everyone.

Bring back landscape mode in 2024!

Make the game accessible again for disabled players , those with weak hands and arms and those who are short sighted.
