Is Candy Crush down?

For a number of days now candy crush will not load up on the PC. Previous to this issue the game was running so slow it was jerky and impossible to play. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection or my PC so is this an issue you know about? Is the server down or in maintenance as I cant seem to find anything on this website where you keep people informed of such matters and issues??

Just a polite note to King and/or the moderators. If I attempt to resolve this myself as it seems no one is going to help and I lose the level I am at then I will expect either King and/or the moderators to reinstate me at the level I was at. I will not under any circumstances start this game from the start
