Sweet Sailing : collecting purple candies

I'm puzzled that there isn't much posting on this new event, with the Qualifier round finished just over 13 hrs ago, have I missed something here.Anyway only 2 of my accounts had this event, both qualified for the 2nd stage.

This account started when event began and reached 3rd position

This account started with barely 4hrs left and scored top

Could have been a much easier race had it not been that tough competitor.

Now moving to the next stage, just 1 hr after the Qualifier round ended.

I am not sure what this event is!! I do not have it either! Since I have reached the 15K milestone, I too started playing with a 2nd account and nothing there either!!

But, looking at the "Star" shaped candies, may be it is a pre-pre-pre warm up for the All Stars😂

I will ask QueenB and see if she has any news🍫🍫

Hi @MonicaYellow that is interesting and I haven't seen this feature in my game yet.

Sweet Sailing has appeared in people's game's before and back then it was a test feature that was released by mistake. I wonder if something similar has happened again

What I find interesting is that the candies are purples stars which they showed would be used for the all-stars. Considering no season has even started yet I think they are tossing this is to test for when the season actually starts.

Spring seems a little late this year, I think King was unprepared and spent too much time on all-stars and not enough on actually getting a season out.

Considering no season has even started yet I think they are tossing this is to test for when the season actually starts.

I would say yes and no to that @Pyrolight. Like last time I think the release of Sweet Sailing is a test that very people should/will see and what it actually means is that another Event will probably get released soon.

Last time Sweet Sailing accidentally got released to people that should have been receiving the Great Adventure Season

Ya I am thinking the last few events have been either fillers or test for events that should appear in the "Spring season", that at this rate run for two to two and a half weeks.

Semi-Final was over, both accounts reached the top, not much a fight there, one completed 3 episodes, the other 6 episodes (for Rush for Gold).

The Final round started soon after the Semi-Final. Was busy with family event, only started the Final some 9 /8 hrs after the commencement, and was way down at the bottom of the leaderboard:

After 1 episode, one is placed at 20th, the other at 21st position, with quite some catching-up.

Will there be a Party Booster in the rewards for top player?

While playing for this event, there are side-events, e.g Candy Collection- a more satisfying event with no competition with other players, and easy to complete full collection for very decent rewards, including 3 UFOs, not just ONE

Concentrating on one account (Holly) only.

Unable to score for the Sweet Sailing Final at the last hour of event, really frustrating, as have been racing for 6 episodes during the last stage to reach top, but suddenly candies collected not recorded.
