Hi @felixbeewoop Most of the events that show player icons, such as the Candy Royale and the episode race are not real at all and you are NOT competing against strangers or any other players. You a competing against the game, which sets you out a task for you to beat the score other players achieved before you (the other players are recordings).
To remove the live events, such as the gold club races on at the moment, you can do this quite easily by the following steps: Close the Candy Crush app. Then change the settings on your device to a date before the event started, such as Saturday March 9th. Then open the Candy Crush app. Now, with the app open, change the date on your device back to "automatic", i.e. the present day. Now play a level. All your non interactive events that you can play offline, such as candy collections, the episode race or Candy Royale are not affected by this maneuvre, but the live events/races will have disappeared from your game and won't come back.

Thank you for the feedback. In most of the events of this game you will find random friends who are not on your friends list but everyone is a player of this game. Since contestants selection is completely random, you cannot remove or skip them because the random process cannot be manually modified.

Is there a moderator on the forum anymore? This glitch just started today, the new levels that were just added are not syncing across my devices. All are up to date. It's also been saying occasionally about no connection, but closing out the game and restarting seems to take care of that. The real issue is the syncing…
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
