Thanks very much for the clarification @teenybee ! I totally agree with you on the Star Tournament being too hard to pass. I do remember it from when I was at the top of Candy Crush. I do not believe that any honest player can use it to compete in All Stars. It's just for the party popper bashers, and apparently that method is now not allowed in the tournament. Not that it will stop anyone trying, of course.
Oh that’s interesting, @christinewupp, that you can’t use Party Poppers in the tournament. How will they enforce that? Not that it’s relevant to me.
And sidebar: I resent being given the choice of using two UFOs or one Party Popper in the chocolate box (only two choices, repeated) in order to win less valuable boosters, and then having to wait three days for it to time out.
You misunderstood me I think. Of course we are allowed to use SOME party poppers, but last year some final group winners used a method that isn't in the spirit of the game: Hiding a dragon in an inaccessible place and then bashing away at the board with party poppers and hammers to collect purple candies, not even making a move at all. They must have thousands of boosters in their inventory to do that. How King will enforce stopping players using this method this year I do not know, but it is in the Terms and Conditions that anything not in the spirit of fair play will be excluded.
