Greetings Colleen! This is really the 1st that I have heard a player talk about the side games along with the tournament. For me, I did not get the All Stars Tournament which did not bother me until I realized that I am getting no side games whatsoever! I do not think that I have ever been this bored before with CCS and I have been playing since July 2013. Does make me think and try things...so, than again maybe not so bad?

P.S. Had to add: try new things with my game, not stop playing!
@Colleen12 Don't start playing if you haven't already started ! There are only 10 players per leaderboard, so the longer you wait to join a leaderboard, the less you will have to crush!!! This is my advise to all of you reading this. You will be allocated to a leaderboard of 10 players when you play your first level. So if you don't want to crush all weekend, wait to play and enjoy the sunshine! ( If you live in the UK, don't know about elsewhere)
No, it does not mean your chances of winning are any higher if you join late! But you won't have to spend as much time competing. Each ten players are assigned to a leaderboard when they join the competition. Then the next ten players are put on a new 10 person leaderboard. And so on. So if you join late you will be grouped with 10 players who also join late. This does not mean your chances of winning are any higher! It only means that you won't have to crush for as long or play as many levels to win. If you join halfway through then you and everyone else in your group have half the time to compete, that's all.
Also it absolutely won't work from the final knockout rounds onwards, when leaderboard numbers will be limited, so from the next round (starting April 20th) onwards latecomers will be added to existing leaderboards, be warned.
