If players from Brazil need a visa for All Stars final why is Brazil included in event?

I am not myself from Brazil but am baffled as to why Brazil is included in the participating countries of All Stars when apparently to go to California they would need a visa. In 2023 the finals were held in the UK and I have checked: To enter the UK no visa is required for Brazilian nationals, so this would not have been an issue last year. But this year, surely, it will be? Please can King clarify if a player who requires a visa will there be enough time for them to apply for this once they have received their invite to the finals?

Same with Romania! They should help us get the visa, not us getting it beforehand without knowing if we will get the invitation. I mean once we are confirmed to be qualified for the finals they should support us in getting the visa.

I say that to these players who gave everything to be able to go to the live final and who due to visa issues could not be there, as was my case, they should be kept in mind for other possible tournaments already ready from King for the moment. call them and be able to play.

I get your point about the in-game form appearing on April the 20th, but none of us know the particulars of the form yet.

I have posted a warning to all players from Brazil over in the All Stars forum. I do agree with you that there will not be enough time to apply and get a visa. I've checked it up online. All we can do is warn players. Thank you for having brought this issue to our attention. I guess there is no more any of us can do now.

It is impossible to arrange a visa as soon as the tournament begins since time is very short. In the worst case it would be at least 3 months in advance. since you should know that this takes time. depends on the country . There are electronic visas that are fast in 3 days, if you are of European nationality, but if you do not have a European passport everything changes and depends on what country or nationality you are. And of course the most difficult thing would be to reach the last round, I still say they should give prizes to the finalists who for visa reasons did not ask to be in the live final. I wonder what the difference would be in terms of the player who could be there if they both gave their best. A visa does not make one player better and another inferior.

The problem is not so much having the visa, the problem is the very short time in which King speaks out saying where the live final will be. In fact, if it were said with a lot of time in advance, there would be many players, I would say thousands, not to mention millions, who would be able to manage said visas. since the problem is that if someone passes the eliminatory rounds they will be asked for their personal information and if they end up among the players to participate in the live final they will contact him or her and in that call they will ask and/or request said information. documents and that happens in May, days after the end of the All Stars, it is not in June. By June, the 10 participants should be ready with all the procedures. I take advantage of the writing of the other users to also say that I wish and King takes it into account that they can make an All Stars with a live finale in Brazil, Spain or another country that is not the United Kingdom or the United States. I don't know why they are always made in these places and not in others. And if it is in a country where they know that they require a visa, they can say so in advance. This year I will not be able to go again due to visa issues. to remain and to pass the 3 rounds of the semifinal, of course, it will not be easy at all. But I don't lose hope of one day being able to be in a live final and play with the best Candy Crush Saga players in the world.

And the answer to that is players don't have to wait for the invite to the finals to apply for their visa. If they know they will need a visa to travel then in theory they could have applied as soon as the competition started. I suppose at the latest people could leave it until they get to the Final Knockout Round 1 and this then leaves from the 20th April until the 1st June to get a visa.

I always assumed that part of the reason participating countries were so limited was the practicality of any participant in those countries actually getting to attend a live final.

I always assumed it was to do with world politics.

Yes, but my original question was why is Brazil one of the few countries on the list of participating countries? No other country in South America is. Mexico, the Carribean, Central America aren't. Why then Brazil? For the past twelve months I always assumed that part of the reason participating countries were so limited was the practicality of any participant in those countries actually getting to attend a live final. Last year that held true: Citizens of all the participating countries only required a valid passport, no visa. If it is different this year it will cause a lot of disappointment and confusion, and dare I anticipate anger as well. The least we can do is warn people about it.

Not every player understands the full implications of the Terms and Conditions.

Nothing in the T&Cs indicates that you can't be eligible for the competition just because you need a visa @christinewupp Just the opposite in fact.

3.1.7. ensure that your participation in the Tournament is compliant with all applicable laws, and represent and warrant that you will take all steps necessary to ensure such compliance. King does not take responsibility for your compliance with local laws and visa requirements.

6.3.2. they and their Guest must hold a current and valid identity document with at least 6 months validity as of 1 June 2024 including but not limited to valid passport, driver’s license, national identity card or any necessary visa or other governmental authorization required for your participation in the Tournament;

6.3.3. they and their Guest (as applicable) are eligible and available to travel to California, USA within the period of 10 June to 22 June 2024 (exact dates to be promptly specified to the In-Game Winner), including but not limited to compliance with any visa and vaccination requirements;

The only unknown is whether you will make it to the final or not.

I know @ponce123 and that is exactly why I am asking this question. I wouldn't want anyone to get to the position you found yourself in last year. There will be more time between the last round and the final this time but I also doubt it will be enough. That is why I ask the question. @PummyRaj perhaps you could check this out? I would seriously want to warn anyone from Brazil about this problem before they start spending huge sums of money thinking they might win the competition only to find that they won't be invited, no matter if they win their leaderboards. Not every player understands the full implications of the Terms and Conditions.
