Massive background Graphic Error (desktop)

Hi there!

So, I have absolutely no idea what's happened but for a couple of weeks now I am basically "playing on Lava":

I play exclusively on my Mac laptop. I thought this issue would go away once I restarted the browser or the error is fixed, but it's been like this for a while now. Any idea what's going on here? Anyone else have that problem? It doesn't impact the play-ability at all, it just looks really weird

I've already tried clearing the cache and restarting, but that didn't work either.

Isn't that strange @Cezdiamond? Now we've seen it all! I think it would be a great idea to have the studio create assorted backgrounds. That would surely perk up a frustrated player!

How odd! I will see if I can find out anymore information, I guess the main thing would be to clear cache and to make sure you have the latest version of the browser installed too.

On Facebook online the version updates should be automatic you are right

thanks for the tips, @Elsa! It really is a weird glitch, and it doesn't impact the game at all, just looks weird!

I use the newest Firefox version (double checked) and my Mac just updated to High Sierra, also cleared my cache but that didn't do anything.

One tip worked though - in Safari, the background looks completely normal. But in Safari the game also speeds weirdly, and I don't really like it. So will just continue with my Lava background - makes me feel special ;D

PS: How do I find out if I have the "Latest version" of the game? I had assumed it always just automatically updates if I restart the browser/Facebook.

Then I would like you to please check to see if your Mac laptop needs an IOS update and also check to see if you have the latest version of the game.

I will forward this message to a Community Manager just so that she can see what is going on with your game. I don't think it's something that she can forward to the studio since you are the only person reporting this. Hopefully the troubleshooting and updates help. Please let me know if it clears up.
