Hello @Rebirth_Phoenix. It certainly should have been possible for King to eliminate cheating players from the competition. King removed all remaining randomness from Candy Crush during 2023 probably to prepare for All Stars 2024. King have complete control over all of our games, meaning each player ID is bespoke and tailor-made to each individual player and King have records of each player ID: when we started playing, how much gold we have, which events we were given by them for free boosters and how much money we have spent. Using all these data linked to the player ID King could certainly use an automated method to calculate which player can achieve which maximum score in which given time! It's all written into the game algorithms. If they input all the data into an AI then certainly it could spot and eliminate cheaters. Whether they have done so is anyone's guess though, because King are notoriously secretive.
My best guess, looking at numerous posts in the community, would be that yes, there is such a system but like everything else in Candy Crush it seems to be faulty and glitchy. So yes, a lot of players seem to have been kicked out of the event it seems. If that was for cheating, that is something we will never find out for sure.
