Yes, I have tried many times. There just isn't an X in the corner to exit out of the pop up like there used to be before the last update
I'm very sorry to say that you are right, your device is no longer compatible with the game seeing that it needs to have version 12.0 and up for the game to work.
Do you have any other device you can switch to? If you need help transferring your game progress, let us know and we'll be here đ

Is it for the update of Candy Crush Saga game App or your iOS software?
Can you open App Store on your iPhone and check which version do you have on Candy Crush Saga? Can you also post a screenshot of that "update" pop-up (that has no X)?
If it is the iOS software update, it would help to contact Apple Support team! Whereas, for the game App update, our Community In-charge will be able to assist!

I was going to play CCS today, but when I open my app, it makes me update with no "X" button. Pressing update brings me to app store which says I need IOS 11 to update. IPhone updates says "iOS 10.3 3 Your software is up to date"
