I have noticed some events are now progressive in nature. Ie win streak gets better over time, ie second bag going from 1 to 2 turns. I think the lucky egg might end up that way. Also the bubblegum troll in the background of the first image is terrifying.
Speaking of difficulty. Outside of a lucky level, which was not happening, it actually took a Party Popper to be beatable. The other updated version has waffles so at least you are not blocked clearing anything out.
Someone else posted about level 163 yesterday and now I know why. I have played this level dozens of times and always got a lucky board on my first or second try, but even though I still got the chocolate version this week I could not pass it in six tries this week. But your version looks much worse still. I can't believe your board @SubstitutePyrolight. Who had the bright idea to test out such a blocker level this early on in the game?
I just ran into a section 320 to 365 that was unreasonably hard. Double booster and I could not even hope to get a win streak more than 3. I have noticed these before where a number of episodes in a row are exceptionally difficult.
I cannot remember if this section was this hard last time or if it was a little later on, but given how each game can play a bit differently, it is sorta moot whether it was the exact same section or not.
ahhhhh so it’s not just level 2489 which I am stuck on. Did Candy Crush lower the number of moves on each level this week or something? That’s ridiculous. Nice way to anger your user base. I’m signing out and I’ll try back in a week. Not wasting my holiday trying to beat impossible levels.
@Frosting
I'm frustrated at the meager 6000 level.
I am playing the game and noticed that the last few tiles are always too difficult to clear with the remaining moves and I have to restart or spend boosters, in many instances using >51 bars to win.
I am a sucker and buy a 1000 bar pkg and playing in the US. The pkg costs $100 or 10 cents a bar.
Spending bars is expensive and futile in the long run. At least in a casino you can cash in your chips for actual money whereas Crush uses their own in game currency and is valueless outside the game.
I think Crush has monetized (ie: read greedy) the increased difficulty in order to pay for the big promotion prizes through a higher occurence of pkg purchase.
I am still undecided @christinewupp
This time last week I had 951 gold bars. This week I have played three Episodes and I now have 1017 gold bars. Earlier this week I complained that I was making a loss, but I have made them back with the Episode Race and the Silver Chocolate Box. Also I have just won twenty gold bars from the Candy Royale. I haven't won a Royale in a long time, so that doesn't make me think things are more difficult. If anything the Episode I have just played (ending in 6305) seemed easier than normal.
Saying that the Cup is on a break in my game at the moment, so that might explain an easing in the difficulty level.
