How do I change groups? I'm back after many years away and starting from scratch but the novice groups don't tend to help out much with lives.

First, a question from me😊 Which game are you playing?
To answer you first question, is there a limit on the friends we can have? —> If you are playing Candy Crush Saga, there is no limit on friends we can have (I have not heard of it either)!
2nd question, How to get more friends? — You will see other players' avatars/profile icons in your game map. Simply, click on those and if you like their profile, send a Friend request. Then, it's up to other players to accept the request or not!
There is also another way to invite friends! Through "link" system. Please find more details —> HERE.
Your final question, can we message each other in there? — Unfortunately, no!! Since there is no "teams" feature in Candy Crush Saga, chat feature is also not available! But, if you are connected with any of the players on Facebook, you can chat with them on Facebook Messenger👍️

A friend in the discussions forum just suggested that you can have as many as 1000 friends on your friends list @donna69 . So get inviting! If you like, add me by clicking on the link below. Please do stay around in the community and check the discussions forum regularly. The game has changed very, very much since you last played it and we can give you lots of tips on how to play. My first tip is to save up your gold. Don't spend any before level 200. Play boosters wisely. The game requires certain boosters now to pass specific levels and there will be some levels from 225 onwards that will not allow you to pass for days without boosters, so keep some gold and lollipop hammers for those (watch out for those legendary levels)

I thou9ght I joined a team when I started but I must be confusing it with another game.. Maybe it was just suggested friends. Is there a limit to the number of friends we can have? How do I get more from within the game and can we message each other in there?
