My candy crush game has started to run slower than usual. I have uninstall the app and reinstalled it (losing all my items in the process), but it's still the same, any ideas how to fix? Also cleared cache etc but no difference.

I can't tell what platform you're using. If it's desktop/laptop, some browsers might be better. But mobile app I usually just make sure nothing else is running in the background on my phone. Beyond that and seeing as the arrows are selected. You might have to reinstall the game, save your progress first though. Or just give it some time, might work itself out.

It definitely does, mainly on the animations of candies exploding and dropping. Party blast, ufo, not so much. It's more noticeable when you're in a speed competition. I did well in the last competition, played a ton and without that button I would've likely had a lower score.
The speed button does not seem to really speed things up much for me? I never have noticed that much of a difference whether I choose it or not.

Internet connection affects entire game but not just game board!! I can’t blame the storage either!! I am depending on the “speed” arrows mischief 🤞

If game loading and all other things are normal but, it is only the gameplay, like @pmin mentioned, the reason is usually the Pink arrow that is located in the bottom right corner of the game board!
Can you please check whether the arrow is double arrow or single arrow? Can you take a screenshot of your game board and post it here?
HI, I cannot see its my internet because the game loads fine etc, its all up to date because I also tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it

@PummyRaj do you have any words of wisdom other than it could be the internet connection? That doesn't seem likely as @iannethercot's game loads normally. Have you checked for updates? ʕ.•ﻌ•.ʔ
Did you hit the » icon that's usually in the bottom right in order to play at the faster speed? If on a mobile decide I'd also make sure your phone isn't set to power saving mode and that other apps are in fact closed.
IIt's Slow while in gameplay, loading up is normal, just the movement of items, like swiping and dropping etc all slow
Greetings @iannethercot how is your game running slow? My game has been slow to load up on all platforms/versions for a serveral weeks, but once the game has loaded then everything works fine. Is your game running slowly when you play it or is it just slow to load up? If it is just slow to load not much you can do. Looks like you have done all that you can.
