Stalled Progress - "Sweet Cinema" Disappeared

I am stuck. Here is how I got to where I am now. I have been playing Candy Crush Saga for a very long time. I managed to get to Level 16,500 something without ever paying anything. I did this by relying on "Sweet Cinema" to get boosters to deal with the toughest levels. Then, my son bought a Candy Crush gift card for my wife. She went to redeem the card, and instead of the benefits going to her they came to me. At that point Sweet Cinema disappeared and never came back. I just have 3 gold bars and that's it. I seem to have no way to get additional boosters without paying. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Unfortunately we are all just real people, players just like you and have lives to live so none of us can spend our time looking at every single post…… though I do try sometimes. So yes, sometimes posts do get missed and no one answers. Would you like to join us and join in the discussions and help others? That is what this community is all about, players advising and helping one another.
As for your original question, yes, this is hugely annoying as you did not yourself spend any money but the game has obviously treated you as if you had and removed the ad features in your game. I have read reports of this before. We all do know that anyone who spends real money on any offers will lose their ads and associated benefits, but when this happens in response to a gift card then that is extra annoying. Can I help you with this? No, I can't because King make the rules and that is how the game is. They also make the last 2000 levels of the game extra hard to pass because they think players who have got this far had better start spending some money if they want to get to the end. So the last 2000 levels are always hellish and often impossible to pass. It's been like this for about two years now. Only then it was levels 14,000 upwards, now it's levels 16,000 upwards.
