I'm on level 802, and I haven't even seen a place where I can watch ads. Do they show up at a certain level?

Wow, I never knew they were that cheap. I'm on level 802, and it costs 29 gold bars just for one booster.

I have been playing for a few weeks now, and I'm on level 802. Ever since the first day I started playing, I have never seen the option to watch ads. You had mentioned that you had created a new game, and then you were able to watch ads. I think I should probably do this too. I have spent real money, and I feel like this is a pay to win game at this point. Until these threads, I had no clue that there were ads you could watch to earn stuff. So, maybe starting over would be a good idea. I have one gold bar, no special candies, and no boosters. So, I'm not losing anything, lol.

I want to thank you so much for all your tips. I just got into the community discussions today, when I realized there was one, lol. All these tips on strategies are beyond helpful. If I knew about all this when I first started playing about three weeks ago, my game strategy would have been so different. If only I knew about the ads. They never showed up the first day I started playing, and I don't remember reading about them either.

Hi @foxy_208 Thank you so much for that! Starting over right now is something I would recommend. I play new games from time to time and the one I started yesterday is one of the easiest I've had, so I think right now is a good time to start over. I have already collected over 400 gold bars by level 230. Do not spend any gold until you get to the legendary levels. Good luck!

As you know I started a new account yesterday & am up to level 95. There have been two episode races (I think) & i have gotten a few boosters & gold bars along the way.
I’m wondering if you got to level 230 without using gold bars, did you use lollipops & switches & other boosters & if so how did you acquire them? Because I didn’t want to lose my win streak for boosters, I used gold bars for extra moves. So far, there are no ads. In my old account, I had maybe two ads today. ☹️

Thank you christinewupp. I did restart, and there still aren't any ads to watch in CCS. I see people talking about Royale, maybe it's only in that game. They introduced the Lunar competition at level 39 and I'm at 62 now, and I'm holding at 2nd place. In my old game I was in 13th, so it helped there, lol.

Do you see purple candies? I didn't get any levels with purple candies as fourth colour until I hit level 200! However, I did play so fast that I made it to third place anyway, just with the few 5 colour levels and the few purples the game gives you at the very end after finishing. Ads never show up this early. And of course, there is no guarantee they will ever show up. King run test groups and some just never get any ads. It probably is random. Candy Royale does not show up until level 500.

It is 29 gold bars for one party popper, you were probably thinking of those.
Lollipops costing 89 gold for 15 , I would not call that cheap. 89 gold bars is equal to almost nine free passes of legendary levels. If you play along with King's pay-to-pass game for legendary levels then paying 10 gold bars to pass a level is cheaper than spending two or more lollipops and/or other boosters. Using lollipop hammers or switches only makes "economic" sense if you only need to use one to pass a level. But I agree that playing boosters rather than paying gold for extra moves a more fun playing experience.
