    Level 3

Drop this in here as well

Depending on the level type they are actually quite beneficial or utterly awful.

    1. Square makes one and they also appear randomly like other special candies.
    2. Two fish make three, they had a baby… lol. One could say the mother fish had a jelly belly…
    3. In general order seems to be jelly > anything more than 1 layer > 1 layer licorice >= frosting 1 layer > special candies unless the candy would affect the requirements. This is in general as there do seem to be some variations like if a Gummi Dragon is in a licorice cage and there are no Gummi Dragons not in cages/above the cage.
    4. Special Candy + Fish = 1 special fish.
    5. They are smart. They will clear directly under Gummi Dragons.
    6. When combined with special candies they are usually smart… ish.
    7. I think they act a little like an auto hint, make the best move possible in general.
    8. They are terrible if you need tons of fish in general for a level.
    9. Color bomb and fish is really strong now.
    10. Fish can stop being "smart" on the last turn. This is the game actually overriding them and making you lose. The same thing happens with UFOs if used on the last turn. For the fish this would be a fish say, eating a frosting that would make a move that would make a combo or the like that would win the level. Last turn fish are 50/50 on this. If it is something like clearing under a Gummi Dragon it seems to work all the time.
    11. Fish will totally ignore Toffee Swirls.

Note: Again point 3 it is in general as there seem to be some other factors that can change the order.

    Further analysis

    1. They are great on levels with no jelly where the old fish were useless or non existent. Level 154 is much easier as example.
    2. They are good on where there are corner moves and such that really sucked before.
    3. They are terrible on levels that require many fish or multiple special candy boosted fish.

When I got this in my game some levels were adjusted for the number of turns, some being down 2 or 3, usually nightmarishly hard, 100, 114, 140, this almost broke the mechanics for one of them. ie 114 the last dragon drops onto the board on the last turn. Not super fun getting a dragon down the entire board in a single turn. That needs a fix.

Also the poll needs, I like it but it needs some tweaks.

It’s interesting 🤔 I like the idea but need more time to explore how it works.

It's useful probably as I always wish this can be happens in CCS. But, when I read other comments I heard that it's not as good if implemented in every level. For me, I think it's always a good option for us to create fish boosters. And yes, I have this pop-up so probably I already have this feature.😊

    Level 2

I prefer the classic matching style 🍬 I’m not a fan of this new feature.

    It's working now!

I don’t like this. I am on a hard level. When this change was implemented my number of moves went way down. And the fish only attach one square instead of 3. It just made it more difficult, and not at all better.

Old version with three fish was definitely better than this updated, definitely not upgraded version. One fish attacks everything but the intended target more often, sometimes useful boosters.

    Hey Insertnicknamehere 👋

Wow, this is an amazing breakdown of the new Jelly Fish behavior 🐟🎯 Thanks for sharing such a detailed analysis and it’s super helpful for players trying to understand how they work in different scenarios.

I can see how the change can feel great on some levels (like those without jelly) but tricky on others (where lots of fish are needed). The insight about last-turn fish behavior is especially interesting 🤔 I’ll make sure to pass this feedback along to the team.

About the level adjustments, I totally get how reducing turns can impact strategy. Noted on level 114 and I’ll keep an eye out for similar feedback from other players as well!

Thank you also for the suggestion for the poll options, that was a missed from my side.

Thanks again for such a thoughtful post and keep the feedback coming ☺️
