Fishy testing coming up for the weekend

Another test run? So I was wrong, the last leaderboard event wasn't the final test run before All Stars. Here comes another one this weekend!
I do understand: The new behaviour of the fishes has opened up a great many new opportunities and at the same time closed a great many that players have relied on in the past year or so.
So I have no choice but to go all out testing again, (though this will have to be limited since I have my daughter visiting for some proper board game play, which is far superior to Candy Crush! )
King are clearly running the event to test out the new fish behaviour as well.
So don't be fooled: These new fishes are here to stay and they will be around during All Stars. They will change the strategy we need to use to make the most out of some levels and reach the best possible scores. I would suggest you update your game @MannyFae so you can see how the new fishes change your strategy. These fishes aren't that bad. Some levels are still broken but others have had their algorithms take the fishes into account and play better. The latest releases seem to already include the fishes in the algorithms. They are definitely here to stay and hopefully King will tweak the broken levels ASAP.

Can't they pay for their own testers. Why do I have to use multiple ufo's and lollipops to pass levels that have become impossible… (655, 675).

Check my tips here:
It is definitely cheaper to let your win streak go and pay 10 gold bars to pass impossible legendary levels than using multiple boosters. The game is a balancing act between spending gold and earning gold. Don't spend real money! Replay impossible levels until you can pass them by using 10 gold bars.

I was (am) trying to break the win streak record (2531) :) So far so good (haven't lost yet), but this isn't helping…
There may need to be a 'post-fish' record :)And obviously I won't ever spend a dime.

Great and good luck in trying to break the win that streak record! I hope you won't hit one of those horrible "oops" levels. Watch out for those. If you hit one make sure you play the same level on another device, pass it and save it before quitting on the oops device (close the app rather than press the quit button, just to be sure). I think that's the only way to keep our win streak if we hit an oops level. If you don't know what I mean by an oops level let me know and I'll explain.

I play on 1 device. I have never saved and I never will. No cheats…

Playing on two devices isn't cheating, that's perfectly legitimate. It's oops levels that are cheating honest players out of their win streaks. I hope you won't hit any. Good luck!
