How am I preparing for All Stars, in two words 'I'm not' 🤐

@morganleeoregon I think you might underestimate your chances in the live final. Remember - everyone else who gets there probably needed to do the same sort of thing in order to reach it. Which means they too probably rely a whole lot on boosters normally. People who go without boosters have no chance of making the live final. You have to be hitting boosters like crazy to achieve the speed needed, no matter how good you are. I suspect you have as much chance as anyone else there.
But of course, the hard part is even getting there. There are bound to be many more than 10 people with that kind of arsenal in the final stage online, and they'll all be pretty good at putting up numbers fast. So in the end, probably the biggest factor to getting there is to get lucky and be the best in your particular last stage group. I hope both you and @christinewupp manage to be in groups where you can win - it would be fun to have several people from here win the online portion.
I think that it's really nice that you were able to talk to previous live finalists. I have often wondered if the scenario you describe was what happened - I'm kind of glad it works that way, since it seems the fairest approach. Thank you for that insight.
Still no sign of All-Stars in my game this morning, I'm afraid. I played a few levels in the Star Tournament, and scored 6-6-3-6 without any boosters - quite amazingly lucky.
Wow, you really are serious! Well, you needn't worry about competition from me because I only want to get to the finals group and I'd love to win it as well, but I'm not travelling to California for any live final. So even if I win my group the next player behind me would get to go. If the live finals were in Europe I'd love to attend but not the USA as I neither want to go there nor is it practical as I won't be rearranging a family holiday we already have booked for June 14th.
I may have a huge amount of boosters but my strategy is potentially doomed to fail. My skills require boosters but I won't have my arsenal in the live final round in Los Angeles.
I tracked down a couple of the live final round players from previous years. They told me each players gets a new account and a tiny set of boosters in the finals. I won't have my arsenal.
I even watch ads when I work and drive. Everyone at my corporate job knows I'm chasing the ring and accepts I watch ads and still give 100% dedication to work.
As for having that many hours to watch Sweet Cinema, I'm sure @morganleeoregon is referring to being in the game watching for the ads for 16 hours a day, and that is probably an approximation/exaggeration. Basically watching all the time - multitasking, while doing other things. That's what I do. I may not really do 16 hours, but I often do 12-14 hours in a day if I don't have to go anywhere. I just keep it up and click whenever I see an ad pop up, and otherwise ignore it. To collect 10,000 boosters of each type (under the old Sweet Cinema, with 9 chances at 5 boosters) would take about 1000 hours of actually watching ads, which is really just 42 days of 24-hour watching sessions. Spread out over 18 months, it's quite possible, depending on the market.
I suspect the ad watching availability is heavily influenced by market. I'm in a relatively urban area in the US, so I get a decent number of ads. I would imagine somewhere like New York City or Chicago or Los Angeles would get even more than I get. But if you're in a part of the world where there aren't as many ad buyers, there are probably a lot less ads available. Probably @morganleeoregon is in a really good ad market area. The numbers do seem believable. I'm really impressed by @morganleeoregon 's accomplishments!

Oh okay. Umm apart from queenb is there someone who can help @Nobody1. I want him/her to participate in this tournament. Contacting support team is waste. I mailed them thrice asking for help since my daily treat machine isn't working, got only an automated reply every time. There should be a team dedicated to help players in these times where grievance like they are not included in tournament like all stars which is a big event. King should be super rich, can't he/she afford a team to help players. I may get banned or strike for even writing this. All I'm saying is all players who play fair should get a chance in this tournament.
Hi @zeus77 No I don't think it's possible to watch Sweet Cinema for 16 hours per day! Err…….if anyone did that and especially if they did this for 18 months, that would be very sorry state of being and complete waste of their lives. Of course it's an overstatement and I'm not sure what it was meant to achieve.
I don't use ads or sweet cinema as I hate watching them (what a waste of my precious time!) but on the rare occasions when I did log into Sweet Cinema then yes, there were time delays in my game as well. I think anyone who can use this feature non-stop is probably experiencing a glitch. Using glitches is deemed "unfair play" by King. I would not recommend anyone to exploit any glitches in the game in the run-up or during the All Stars competition because this will lead to exclusion. I expect King to be ruthless this year in their quest to eliminate unfair play, and I can see that many honest players will fall by the wayside in a "friendly fire" kind of situation. In fact this already seems to have started as some players do not see the event in their games even though they are located in eligible countries.
@morganleeoregon Do not openly say how many boosters and gold bars you've in your game. What if king members read your post and find a way to make you to lag behind in this tournament. I'm not saying this to discourage you. Just being cautious. Isn't this an open platform/forum. What if king have a spy or someone.
Hi. @christinewupp @Pyrospring @Nobody1 is this possible to have 16 hours of sweet cinema per day. I have it only once a day that too not in one go. If i watch ads and pop 4 candies then for the next time I'll have to wait for about 6 hours to get next chance to watch ad and to pop a candy. Totally i only get 16 chances to get boosters out of which 5 are empty candies. So net boosters are only 11. I'm at level 4800ish. Is this because I'm at low level or only top players get 16 hours of sweet cinema. I'm not complaining just asking. Does this watching ads feature differ from one player to another. Isn't same for all. Also @Nobody1 I'm sorry to hear that you've not gotten that warm up tournament in your game. I'm keeping my hopes up for you, and i believe by today evening you will have it in your game.
Just to point out @Nobody1: It is NOT possible to transfer gold bars between accounts. If you start a new account and then log into your existing account the new gold bars will be lost. All that players can do is spend the gold to buy boosters before logging into their existing account.
I think that the merging of accounts is probably now something that King would class as "unfair play" so I don't recommend it for anyone who wishes to participate in All Stars. For this reason I have never merged any other account into my Cornflower account. Ok, I think I did it once only, but that was a test account which also had never used any cheats or glitches and earned its boosters honestly.
Strictly speaking I would disagree with this @morganleeoregon . I have found in my recent research that the Star Tournament at the very end of the map scores really well for purple candies and I was able to easily pass by all my competitors on a recent leaderboard competition using the star tournament. However anyone actually playing in the upper level ranges does not stand a chance, that is correct, since there are too many boards with too many colours and too many of those boards have order locks, sour skulls etc making them too slow to open up.
Recent changes in the way the game has been rewritten, including the rewrites of level 1-3000 and the new jelly fish feature all mean that new players are being given a helping hand and encouraged to participate this year. In theory anyone can win this competition by spending a lot of money on the gold and boosters we have spent all year collecting for free. So the competition will be tough. Players no longer need to be expert crushers or understand how the algorithms work to win this.
Anyone can win All Stars this year. The problem is that not everyone can. That makes this year's competition very much like a lottery.
I absolutely agree @morganleeoregon . Your booster arsenal is impressive! You obviously have worked hard to prepare for this event.
Yes, speed will be all that matters in the final round and I expect to have to work at top speed for the full 24 hours. I have calculated that up to 200,000 points per hour is possible. King have been rewriting levels and the end of level cascades have been further reduced since All Stars 2024 to control exactly what score per level can be achieved. In my sneak preview of the Terms and Conditions which were leaked prematurely by mistake I saw the announcement that in all Stars 2025 there will be a cap per level further limiting the score that can be achieved per level. So I expect this event to be won by whoever can zoom through the most levels the fastest.
I have done a lot of research over the past 12 months which I all posted about in this community and I found that the mid level ranges are the best for purple candies. So you are perfectly placed for the competition and I wish you well. You do see the warm-up collection I hope? My top speed is four episodes or about 180,000 purple per hour, so I'm not sure if that will be enough.

@Nobody1 I fear that QueenB might now not be able to read your post as it's weekend, King staff don't work weekends and I have heard that QueenB won't be around next week though I do hope that with it being All Stars week there may be a stand in. I am so, so sorry that you aren't seeing the event and I'm not sure if there is anything you can do. I had a private messaging line still open from months ago when there was a community feature to award gold bars for helping newbies. I slithered into that feature by default since I was answering so many posts and that's when that private messaging line to QueenB opened, so I used it to ask if my account could be looked into and that is how I got reinstated into the event.
My Poppy account is still blocked. I do wonder if King are blocking accounts that are suspicious simply on the grounds that they have a lot of gold bars (like Cornflower), or because they manage to survive against the odds at the end of the map (like Poppy). I am not sure what can be done about it. There is a possibility that Monday might yet bring an update that will allow more players to join. j
I have tried to delete and reinstall my Poppy account to test if that works. But it didn't. I saw the the star shaped candies in the newly installed account and the warm up collection showed up at level 5 but as soon as I logged into my existing account all was gone, so don't try that. I lost all my boosters of course, but I have decided to use the iPad for Cornflower during the competition, so that I can alternate devices to save my fingers.
Let's see what next week brings and I keep my fingers crossed that it will show up before it's too late.

Wow. Okay. Thanks so much for your response! Seems like you must have a better ad feed than I have had the past year. Sometimes it's good and I can collect many boosters - lately it's been pretty good - but for a lot of the past year it seemed like it limited me to around 10 of each booster with Sweet Cinema per day - seemed like a hard limit. I am glad it is allowing me to do more than that now.
It's nice to know that my strategy and yours is not really that different - sounds like we go about it approximately the same way - it's just that you've done it to the max. Very impressive accomplishment - good luck in the tournament. I hope you make it to the live finals - please let us know if you do!
Oh, also, if you really NEVER lost a level, perhaps you could update the thread @christinewupp started about the longest win streak, so we can have the highest possible result reported there? The highest we have there so far is 2531.
I watched at least 16 hours of sweet cinema per day for 18 months to collect boosters. For gold, I never lost a level and I play strategically with chocolate box and weekly games to get all the gold.
Are you sure the Star Tournament at the end of the map is not an option for competing? I was looking forward to trying. It seems like a pretty rapid generation of purple candies can be achieved with the Star Tournament? Or is that not possible to use during All-Stars?
Your war arsenal is quite impressive! I am at a loss to see how you could possibly have accumulated so much without spending anything. Care to give away your secret? Buying those items with gold bars would have cost several hundred thousand gold bars (the lollipops and hand switches alone would cost 120,000+), which certainly can't be accumulated by level 4901 without spending real money in the game. I suppose @christinewupp pointed out the possibility of connecting accounts so as to effectively transfer bars from one account to another - is that how you did it? It would really be nice to know how you accomplished such an accumulation of game wealth.
I thought I was doing pretty well with 26,500 gold bars at the end of the map. But I know I'm nowhere near the best - @Colleen Companion Welsh , for example, has 44,000+ and is very near the end as well. But even her 44,000 pales in comparison to your stash. It does seem like you will be a formidable competitor. I would really like to know how you accumulated it all.
Also, I did try last year (not at the end of the map), and was second place in the next-to-last round (fifth stage). Not a great result, admittedly, but I only had a few thousand gold bars to work with, which clearly wasn't enough.
It is obvious you won't even have to try hard to make it to the 5th stage. So you will only really need the vast majority of your arsenal for 5th and 6th stages (unless you are very unlucky and paired with another top player in the 4th stage). With only 2 stages, and with the 6th stage lasting just 24 hours, it seems like your total war chest is way more than should be needed, so clearly you won't have trouble with running out of resources. So yes, for you, speed should be the only issue.
