I was playing in the Star Tournament yesterday, and noticed the old fish behavior on several of the levels. I am pretty certain this was only true on some levels, but I had several times when I combined a fish with a stripe and had it go off screen and come back as 3 striped fish. (I did it once because of a weird situation where I thought it might be worth it, and was surprised to see the 3 fish come back, and so after that I started using it intentionally, and was thrilled that it was working.) So it appears the old-style fish can happen sometimes on some Star Tournament levels.
Does anyone know if the old-style fish also exist on some regular, non-Star Tournament levels?
Interesting! Next time you see this take a screenshot or note down which level it was if it was one of the long list of levels you posted in your other thread. I have not seen old fish in any levels I've played recently.
See what this stupid fish have done now. I quit this nonsense. It just brings me a big stress.
What happened exactly? This might be a level to add to my "levels ruined" thread. You might want to post it there.
I think you can clearly understand what happened if you look at the trash mixers. They are at different phases. Because the fish attacked some of the mixers. And that completely ruined the level.
I don't know what they spawn but I can check the level out later, thanks.
They spawned all those colorbomb bon bon blitz or whatever. And they covered the whole board without leaving a single move. Let me show you a screenshot of level start.
Here it is.
thanks for clearing this up for me and all of us struggling with the new school of fish
I'm not too sure on this @SH24 . The fishes normally attack the sour skull first, which is helpful. I assume the frog is hiding underneath the skull. If the fish do attack the magic mixers it's a good thing as these need to destroyed. I think you might need to use the frog for this level. I see colour bomb boxes spawned by the mixers. Use these to charge the frog then move the frog to get all the toffee swirls. The toffee swirls need to be removed so that the striped candies drop which will then hit the magic mixers. In all honesty if anything the new jelly fish ought to be helpful for this level. None of this explain though why you got the oops. The striped candies should have surely dropped to fill those empty spaces on the left? You probably need to get at least some of the mixers before the whole of the right side is swamped by those colour bomb boxes.
